The Stella Prize is a major literary award celebrating Australian women’s writing.
The purpose of the organisation is to promote books by Australian women and non-binary writers through initiatives which support greater participation in the world of literature.
This year the winner is Praiseworthy by Alexis Wright.
Alexis Wright is the only writer to have won the prize twice. She won in 2018 for Tracker: stories of Tracker Tilmouth
The most ambitious and accomplished Australian novel of this century.
