Hello anime aficionados! It’s been a looooong while since our last Anime Update. Too long. So, to make up for it we have a veritable cornucopia of new titles we’d love to share with you. But let’s not waste time going on about it, let’s dive straight in! Starting with …

The New Series

While these new series are all quite different in a lot of ways, they all have some things in common. They are all, to me at least, stand out titles. Not just for characters, story and world building – which is no small feat in itself – but for their distinctive and beautiful art style and animation quality.

The Other New Series

This next group of new series are also all quite different but they all have one thing in common: the element of romance. From a slice-of-life office drama with a supernatural twist, to a superhero smackdown with forbidden feelings, these series have a romantic subplot (or two) for everyone.

And not forgetting the feature film prequel Fruits Basket: Prelude.

Discover the turbulent beginning of Tohru’s mum’s dark past, and the man who breathed new hope into her. Watch the evolution of their love story and the birth of the Honda family, as this chapter completes the full adaptation of the heart-warming Fruits Basket story.
