Hair! is a zany and energetic rhyming picture book, all about that wonderful and weird stuff growing out the top of our noggins. It’s a celebration of all things hair: the huge variety of types, colours and styles. It joyfully celebrates and revels in the sheer abundance and variety of both wearers and wearees.
It is bold. It is bright. It is funny and it is silly. And, through words and illustrations, enables us to acknowledge and accept differences and similarities, in a positive, light-hearted and enjoyable way.
Although, I will admit a small twinge of disappointment that, amongst the plethora of pompadours and multitude of mullets, there wasn’t a single carefully curated comb-over. Haha!
