‘Are you there God? It’s me, Margaret’ is being made into a movie!

Like many girls growing up in the 70s, 80s and 90s, this iconic book was read and re-read by my teenage self. I am so excited that it is being made into a movie! Published in 1970, this novel explores many issues facing teen and pre-teen girls. The book has been challenged a number of times, with inclusion in the American Library Association (ALA) lists of 100 most challenged books in both the 1990s and the 2000s. It was also selected for TIME’s 100 best English novels since 1923.
