The Shortlist for the WAYRBA (West Australian Young Readers’ Book Award) has been announced. The award covers four categories; picture book, younger readers, middle grade, and older readers. The books are nominated by WA students up to Year 12, and all students in WA are invited to vote for the winners.

Books that are nominated must meet these criteria:

  • books must have been published in the last five years.
  • they must stand alone if they are part of a series (unless book one has been on).
  • they can’t have been on a WAYRBA shortlist before.

Reserve a copy today to be involved and then cast your vote.
