Join Gaye and story dog Gracie for this fun literacy program. Ideal for children who are learning to read or children who are having difficulty reading. Story Dogs is a reading support program and can help children to develop literacy skills and reading confidence. It is a program that has had many success stories, and it is the dog that makes all the difference.
The Story Dogs program is for children aged from 5 to 10 years old. There are two sessions held each week during the school terms at Spearwood Library. The sessions are held on Friday afternoons and each session runs for 30 minutes. The first session starts at 3.30pm and the second at 4pm. Children participating in this program are encouraged to attend weekly.
