The 2023 Premier’s Reading Challenge
We invite students from Kindergarten to Year 10 to uncover great mysteries through the world of books for the Premier’s Reading Challenge. The challenge is to log 12 or more book titles during the challenge. This year we have new and more extraordinary prizes for our readers.
The 2023 challenge runs from Monday 8 May to Friday 8 September 2023. (Home – Premier’s Reading Challenge (premiersreadingchallenge.wa.edu.au)).
How It Works
The challenge is open to students aged kindy to year ten.Â
Read, read, read. It doesn’t matter the book, or if it’s an old favourite you’re reading again, read as much as you can and log your books.
Not reading in English? No worries, log those books too.Â
If you’re not sure where to start, the organisers have put together a list of over 7,000 titles to browse.Â
Every child who logs at least twelve book (but if you read more pop them all in) goes into the draw for the end of challenge prizes.Â
