Scribblers Festival 2019 – Podcasts and Highlights

Scribblers is an annual festival of literature and arts for young people brought to life by cultural non-profit FORM and the Town of Claremont. With programming just for Schools and a weekend for the whole Family, Scribblers Festival invites kids and young adults of all ages to celebrate the magic of storytelling!

From 8-12 May 2019, 25 children’s book authors and illustrators from Australia and around the world, planted seeds of inspiration in the minds of 15,000 children, grown-ups and everyone in between. (https://www.scribblersfestival.com.au/)

2019’s Scribblers Festival might be over but that doesn’t mean the fun has stopped.

The Scribbler’s Festival has a selection of podcasts recorded in the Conversation Caravan. The interviewers are teens asking authors all sorts of questions. One of the amazing things about all of the Australian authors I have met is how giving they are to their readers and you can see that coming through in these podcasts.

There are also a selection of video highlights featuring some wonderful authors including Matt Stanton, Jacqueline Harvey and Eddie Woo.
