The spirit of Findhorn

Saturday 27 October 12.30 – 1.45 pm

Spearwood Library

Come along to a free, illustrated talk on the spirit of Findhorn.

The Findhorn Foundation is a community in northern Scotland based on spiritual, sustainable living.

Recently returned from Findhorn, Alan Hancock explains how a 500-strong community is working to change the world ‘one heart at a time’ through its approach of spiritual ecology.

Since its three founders arrived in 1962, wind-swept dunes have been replaced with lush woodland and gardens, eco-housing, windmills, solar panels and education centres. How this has unfolded makes for an unexpected and inspiring story.

As Findhorn’s credo says, ‘expect miracles’.
