Cockburn Libraries spent an evening with Kylie Bullo, who is the Orangutan Project‘s Conservation Project Manager. She spoke about the Orangutan Project, and about Temara, the world’s first zoo-born orangutan to be released into the wild.

The time Kylie spent in the Sumatran jungle with Temara as the orangutan adapted to her new life in the wild inspired Kylie to write a book about the experience: Reaching for the Canopy.
