Women of a Certain Rage
A collection of stories by Australian women.
Liz Byrski asked 20 Australian women from widely ranging backgrounds, races, beliefs and identities to write about rage.
The result is the book Women of a Certain Rage.
The honesty, passion, courage and humour of their personal stories is energising and inspiring. This timely book reflects on how moments of rage can have a positive or negative impact on our lives. It can certainly be empowering for women.
‘Let’s hope that women will now honour their right to anger, their right to be enraged, and not to suppress that anger, but rather to use it as an inspiration to take action, to prompt change.’ Women of a Certain Rage book review
