Have you all been voting for your favourite books in the West Australia Young Reader Book Awards?
There was a very detailed post on our main blog a little while back showing the nominated books and how you could vote for them.  You can read the entire post after the jump… (and by that I mean, click to read more!)

Vote for your favourite book in the 2011 Western Australia Young Reader’s Book Award (WAYRBA).  WAYRBA is a readers’ choice award, organised on a statewide basis for young readers. This year the award has three categories: Picture Books, Younger Readers and Older Readers. All listed books have been selected based on the nominations received from kids over the the past 12 months.

Read any of the books on the list and tell us whether they were terrific, good, okay or awful. Vote now by completing an online voting slip. Voting closes on 26 September 2011. You can also pick up paper voting slips from any of the Cockburn Libraries.

Cockburn Libraries have most of the books, but not all, so if one of the links below doesn’t show the book it means the library doesn’t have a copy at the moment, so fill in an inter-library loan request form and the library will attempt to get in a copy from another library for you).
