Money. We have been taught all out lives that it cannot buy happiness. However, Suits gives the saying a whole new twist. Indeed, how can anyone be truly happy in jail? Money may give you your freedom, which is as important as being happy. If you have enough assets, can you get away with anything?

Meet Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), the best lawyer money can buy.

Mike Ross is a college drop out. However, he is smart. He has just befriended the wrong people. One day, to hide from a bad drug deal, he slips into an office. Interviews are running. Mike has no other choices than to pretend he is a lawyer, recently graduated from Harvard.

On the other end of the table is charismatic Harvey Specter, the best attorney money can buy in Manhattan. Tired of seeing the same molded candidate over and over again, he immediately takes an interest in Mike. He has an incredible talent: a photographic memory. Despite his lack of degree and the fact that pretending to be a lawyer is against the law, Mike then starts his new life.

He will discover soon enough the level of commitment necessary to win when the stakes are that high. Playtime is over.

Harvey on the other hand has all the answers and will let you wonder about right and wrong.

Harvey Specter: I don’t get lucky. I make my own luck.

Mike and Harvey form a perfect pair. The young, eager, street smart one against the cold blooded, experienced shark. They are at the center of the show but are surrounded by amazing characters. Donna first of all is simply brilliant. She is not your average secretary. Beautiful and smart, nothing is unattainable for her. On the contrary, Louis Litt is neurotic, underappreciated and most of the time ignored. All in all, it is fun to watch those different personalities interact and clash.

I have to warn you though, this TV show is highly addictive. Once you start watching, you may not be able to stop. If you liked How to get away with murder?, White Collar or  The Good Wife, you will love Suits.

Enjoy!
