Forensic scientist Dr. Lynne Milne spoke at Spearwood Library about the fascinating world of forensic palynology; the use of pollen to help solve crimes.

Dr. Milne takes you into the fascinating world of microscopic pollen and spores and how they are used to help solve murders, rapes and other crimes.

In the recent Corryn Rayney murder case, Dr Milne’s pollen evidence indicated that Corryn Rayney was still alive when she was buried. Dr. Lynne Milne, who has appeared on the ABC’s Catalyst program and on Australian Story, is an Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University, lecturer in forensic science at Murdoch and Edith Cowan Universities and the author of A Grain of Truth.

Dr. Milne starts the podcast talking about how her book A Grain of Truth is currently out of print.
