During NAIDOC Week, Sean Gorman, author and Research Fellow at Curtin University’s Centre for Aboriginal Studies, gave a talk at Coolbellup Library about his book Brotherboys: the story of Jim and Phillip Krakouer.The book tells the story of the Krakouer Brothers’ life on and off the field. The book has also been adapted into a play by award winning playwright Reg Cribb and has just commenced a national tour.

As well as talking about the process of writing his first book and getting to know Krakouer Brothers, Sean also spoke about the writing of his forthcoming book Legends : the AFL Indigenous Team of the Century 1905 – 2005, which will be published this month.
