Indeed, expert Fiona Blackham graced us with a wonderful herb presentation workshop and more than 30 people attended. Suddenly the building was full with the aroma of fresh herbs including parsley, basil, lemon verbena, lemon myrtle & dill.
Our patrons learnt about growing, storing and preserving herbs.
It is incredible that with only a few garden essentials, you can create tasteful dishes, herbal teas or even pest control remedies.
To finish a wonderful event, everyone got to taste a freshly made Pesto, with garlic, herbs and walnuts.
