NCIS, Naval Criminal Investigative Service is back for its eleventh season! Very popular in the United states, it is hard to believe that it is still going strong after all these years. Of course some of the characters have changed but what makes up the core of the show is stable and proves once more effective.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs, the one and only, brilliantly lead his team of investigators Anthony Dinozzo, Timothy McGee and … Eleanor Bishop. Yes, I am sorry to say that once more the lead female has decided to leave the cast. Ziva David has said her goodbyes. The script had to change quickly following this announcement and we are all sad to see her gone but it seems to work. The dynamic between the characters is different no doubt, however I believe that it was well done and it is still very interesting.

After all those years, we have witnessed the changes that every individual went through. The losses, the loves. It is a show that I enjoy watching. Most of the investigations are interesting and the quirkiness of the characters only add to it. It is serious but funny and that’s what I love.

In this season, we also get introduced to NCIS: New Orleans. Personally, I like it! I could never get into NCIS: Los Angeles but the atmosphere of New Orleans has something magical that is difficult to resist. All in all, I’ll say: Go Navy!
