Nyungar artefacts workshop and demonstration

Come and experience ancient Nyungar Culture. In this hands-on interactive activity you will gain knowledge of traditional practices, ceremonies, artefacts, hunting and gathering. 

Belinda Cox is a Kaneang Bibbulmun woman from the Nyungar Nation who will demonstrate the artefacts.  Bel has been delivering cultural activities to people of all ages for over 25 years.

Belinda will share her extensive knowledge of Nyungar practices and protocols, using bush plants for health and well-being.

Free film screening

Please join us for a free screening of the film    In My Own Words by Blackfella Films which follows the journey of adult Aboriginal students as they discover the transformative power of reading and writing for the first time. The film is raw, heartfelt and often funny.
