City of Cockburn’s Voices of the Women project documents the lives of six local women, all with family connections to the Dalmatia region of Croatia. Faye Gatti, Rina Lovreta, Vini Kenda, Elsie Gaspar, Anka Radalj and Donna Covich all volunteered to be interviewed about their families, and their memories of growing up and working in Spearwood and Hamilton Hill in the 1940s and 1950s.   Their personal stories were recorded by Hamilton Hill oral historian Denise Cook between August and November 2017.
