City of Cockburn Mayor, Logan Howlett, launched Anne John-Aitken’s autobiography, Incredible Memories, on Saturday 28th of November at Spearwood Library. Mayor Howlett described Anne’s life as full of extraordinary adventures and achievement. She was born in Port au Prince, Haiti, and spent her formative years growing up in the West Indies. Anne is a member of the Tapestry Writers’ Group that meets at Spearwood Library twice a month. Copies of Incredible Memories can be bought from Anne by contacting her on 9434 1910.

The Tapestry Writers’ Group is currently preparing to publish their third anthology and welcomes new members who would like to contribute to the next anthology.
