On Tuesday 28th of November, the Coolbellup Hub was filled with laughter, music, dance and great conversation. Indeed, like each year, we held our annual Home Library Service Christmas Morning Tea. It is always a fun morning with Peter Delle Coste playing 50s, 60s and 70s music. Almost 50 patrons enjoyed the festivities.

A beautiful day enjoyed by everyone.

The Home Library Service patrons came along for some Christmas mince pies and some shortbread to celebrate the end of the year. They got a chance to socialize and even meet City of Cockburn Mayor Logan Howlett. Some members of the library’s English Conversation groups also attended.

A Christmas to remember.

The Home Library Service brings books to those who cannot come to the library. This is why events like this one are so important. Once a year, we all get together and share a good time. It is a wonderful service.

If you’d like to know more about it, don’t hesitate to ask your local Cockburn library. If you live in Cockburn give Mary or Jen a call on 9411 3808 we can deliver to you!
