Brigid Lowry, tea with a local author

Trying to maintain grace and good humour amidst life’s potholes and pitfalls can sometimes be difficult

A Year of Loving Kindness to Myself  and other essays is all the encouragement you’ll need to nurture you and those around you.

The essays are wise and witty and offer insights on living simply, practising acceptance, and learning new ways of enjoying creativity and contentment.

An uplifting book of contemplative, wry, often funny essays about living thoughtfully and with care amidst life’s challenges.

Brigid is the author of Still Life with Teapot along with award winning novels for young adults. She has a Masters Degree in Creative Writing and is a student of Zen Buddhism.

Brigid says she hopes by sharing her own struggles and insights in her book to offer the reader strategies for finding ease and grace with a healthy dose of humour thrown in.
