The September selection for the Big Book Club is Tania James’s debut novel Atlas of Unknowns.
[This] poignant, funny, blazingly original debut novel is a story about sisterhood, the tantalising dream of America, and the secret histories and hilarious eccentricities of families everywhere.
Tania James, who is from New York, will be in WA this month to talk about her novel. She will be touring along with WA author Craig Silvey, whose second novel, Jasper Jones, was the May Big Book Club selection.
Both authors will be appearing – in conversation, with cocktails and nibblies – at Moores Building Contemporary Art Gallery in Fremantle on Friday 18 September @ 7pm. This free event is hosted by Fremantle City Library, so you need to ring them to book – phone 9432 9766
The Big Book Club is a state wide book club that features a different book each month
