Invitation to participate in an international library research project: Perspectives on the Online Library Space Experience

Share your thoughts on connecting with the library through our website and through social media.

University of Technology Sydney in partnership with Civica Solutions is conducting a survey of  library members and users in  Australia, Singapore, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The purpose is to understand how  you use library websites and connect with libraries through Facebook, Twitter and other social media. This will help libraries shape how they provide current services, bring in new services and increase the benefits for communities.

Many of us have grown up with physical libraries where we can browse and borrow books, ask librarians for advice face-to-face and use the library computers. In addition, libraries are developing services through their websites – lending ebooks, for example – and are communicating more about events and services through social media. We would like to know what you think about this.

This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and you can stop at any time. Your responses will be combined with the responses of everyone else who takes the survey and will be used in a research report in a way that will not identify you personally.

Survey period ended Sunday 19 November 2017.  Due to UTS ethics considerations, you must be 15 years of age or older to complete the survey.
