I found this incendiary Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa collaboration on YouTube recently. This blistering live performance was luckily captured on DVD and CD. I was so impressed I ran out and bought a copy of Live in Amsterdam for the library – a performance this good needs to be shared.  Beth can really sing the blues and for the 9.44 minutes of this performance I believe every word she sings. Robbie the Reading Bear goes to a wonderful new home.

Congratulations to Matiria Tapp, the lucky winner of one of our National Year of Reading Teddy Bears. Matiria has promised to read to Robbie every day. To help keep Robbie entertained, his Cockburn Libraries Backpack came with a great book to get Matiria started. Matiria helped to decorated Coolbellup Library’s Christmas Tree and so entered the draw to win Robbie. You might be able to see some of Matiria’s colourful decorations on the tree behind her. Best pizza ever. You should have been there!
