Bear Make Den The book is co-written by established Australian children’s authors, Jane Godwin and Michael Wagner, and illustrated by Andrew Joyner. It follows the likeable ‘Bear’, as he comes to realise what is missing in his den, and goes about making it. The Spearwood Library English Conversation group farewelled June and welcomed Anne. We said farewell to June and thanked her for devoting so much time and enthusiasm to ensuring the new Australians coming into the Cockburn area were welcomed and supported. The aggressive advertising simply doesn’t stop at this time of year, and notions of Christmas, whether you come from...Read More
An enjoyable hour on Saturday with Sara Hall from The Organising School Sara spoke about how to be organised and how to maintain the order once the clutter has been removed. She told us how to decide where to begin and, just as importantly, what to keep. Everyone was motivated and enthusiastic about the tasks that were previously unachievable but now were manageable.
