National Simultaneous Storytime (Phew) 2012
So another NSS has been and gone – thanks to all those who came out and we hope you liked spending time with the very cranky bear! (He wasn’t REALLY that cranky was he) We had over 170 people listening to the story of the bear and the animals who hid out in his cave to avoid the rain over our three branches and we did something different at each of them.
At Spearwood we had the Mayor himself reading The very Cranky Bear with the AUSLAN podcast playing on the projector screen behind him. We did the same thing at Success with Chantelle reading the book and Lizelle reading it at Pram Jams and lastly we had Michael reading the iPad app projected onto a massive screen out at Coolbellup.
We all made cranky bear masks as well as cranky bear character magnets to re-enact the story at home. If you came then come and see me (Michael) as I have certificates to hand out to all the kids who participated!
